About Cinema
Cinema is a small website that picks a movie, a series or an anime for you with one tap. It was built because choosing what to watch often takes longer than watching it. Instead of scrolling through endless rows, you tap once and get a suggestion with its poster, rating, a short story summary, the trailer and the streaming services that offer it in your country.
What you can do on Cinema
- Get a random pick from popular movies, series and anime, or search for a title by name.
- Narrow it down by mood, genre, language and the streaming services you already pay for, such as Netflix or Prime Video, so you only see titles you can really watch.
- Explore what is trending this week, what is in theatres, what is new on OTT platforms and what is coming soon.
- See the details that help you decide: runtime, age rating, director and main cast, and watch the official trailer without leaving the page.
- Keep your own lists: save titles for later, mark titles as watched, and see how many titles you watched this month or this year. You can share your stats as an image.
- Share a title with a friend using a link that opens exactly that title, and add upcoming releases to your calendar with a reminder.
How the suggestions work
Cinema does not write reviews and does not rank titles by opinion. Suggestions are drawn from popular titles in a public movie database, then filtered by the choices you make. Ratings shown on the site are audience ratings from that database. We recommend watching the trailer and reading the summary before you decide.
Where the information comes from
Movie and TV information, posters and ratings come from TMDB. Streaming availability comes from JustWatch through TMDB. Trailers are official videos hosted on YouTube. Availability can change quickly and differs from country to country, so always check the streaming service itself before you subscribe. Cinema is an independent project and is not affiliated with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, JioHotstar or any other streaming service, studio or cinema chain.
Your privacy
You do not need an account. Your saved titles, watched titles and filter choices stay on your own device. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy.
Who is behind it
